User Management

User Management helps you invite people, control their access, and keep your organization secure.

What is this?

User Management is where you add, edit, and deactivate users across your organizations.

When should I use it?

Use this when you need to onboard new staff, change someone's access, or remove access for former team members.

Prerequisites

  • You have an admin role for the organization.
  • You know the user's work email address.
  • You know which role they should have.

If you do not see User Management, ask an admin to grant access.

Flow overview

Step-by-step

  1. Open the dashboard and select User Management.
  2. Choose Invite User or search for an existing user.
  3. Select the correct role and organization scope.
  4. Review access before saving or sending the invite.
  5. Confirm the user appears with the expected status.

Examples

  • Add a new property manager: Invite the user, assign the Property Manager role, and scope them to the correct organization.
  • Remove access for a contractor: Open their profile and deactivate access instead of deleting the account.

Common mistakes / FAQs

  • I cannot edit roles. You may not have admin access for that organization.
  • The invitation email did not arrive. Ask the user to check spam and resend the invite if needed.
  • I removed the wrong user. Reactivate the user and confirm the correct role.

Tips

  • Use the least-privilege role that still lets someone do their job.
  • Deactivate users who no longer need access instead of deleting them.
